A world renowned Hong Kong Chinese tenor since his European debut in 1987, Warren Mok has been making frequent guest appearances throughout the world, including Deutsche Oper Berlin, Paris Opera, Opera de Nice, Opera de Lyon, Opera Australia in Sydney Opera House, Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, The Netherlands Opera, Leipzig Opera, Royal Danish Opera, Teatro di Bologna Comunale, Teatro di San Carlos Lisbon, Seattle Opera, Bolshoi Theatre, Warsaw Opera, Teatro di Cagliari in Italy, ABAO Bilbao, Teatro di Palma Di Mallorca, Nancy Opera France, Bergen Opera Norway, Latvian National Opera, Lithuanian National Opera, Orlando Opera, Hawaii Opera Theater, concert halls in New York Carnegie Hall, London Royal Albert Hall, Berlin Philharmonie, Tokyo Suntory Hall, Seoul Art Center, Prague, and Zurich. He has performed in many festivals including Vienna, the Puccini Festival in Torre de Lago, Wiesbaden, Athens, Martina Franca (Italy), Arles (France), Track (Lithuania), Poland, Wellington, Seoul Arts Center, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. He has an operatic repertoire of more than 50 roles including Calaf (Turandot), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Radames (Aida), Don Carlo, Don José (Carmen), Riccardo (Un Ballo in Maschera), Manrico (Il Trovatore), Turiddu (Cavalleria Rusticana), Canio (I Pagliacci), Romeo, Faust, Werther, and many others. He has worked alongside Sinopoli, Lopez-Copos, Palumbo, Guidarini, Olmi, and Yu. He has recorded many CD's as the leading tenor, including Il Trovatore, Simon Boccanegra, Robert le Diable, Roma, Les Huguenots under on the Dynamic Label; six solo and one duet CDs under the DG, Koch, BMG, and Hugo labels.
In 2007, Mr. Mok will make his debut with Opera di Roma and Opera Ireland as Calaf in Turandot, and at Teatro Massimo Palermo as Canio in I Pagliacci. He will produce and sing in Aida and Roméo et Juliette with Opera Hong Kong, and produce and play the Duca in Rigoletto with the Macau International Music Festival.
He is the current artistic director of the Macau International Music Festival and Opera Hong Kong.
